Where It All Began
Hi I'm Zoe - a mom of 2 and landscape architect behind Room by Zora. Thank you for being here.
Room by Zora started with real problems in my own small home: toys everywhere, kids' art pilling up daily, limited space meets ever growing and changing needs. As a designer, I couldn't accept that "family-friendly" had to mean cluttered or plain utilitarian. So I started designing my way out - baskets that actually fit our shelves without turning my living room into a daycare, and modular wall panels that let my kids' art rotate in and out without a single nail hole.
Everything in the shop comes from that same place: real family life, small spaces, and design that holds up to both.
Our Philosophy
I believe that functional objects can — and should — be beautiful. Every piece in our collection is designed to bring a sense of calm or joy and intention to your home.
With more than 15 years experience in architecture, I like to draw inspiration from building materials and the natural world: organic textures, earthy tones, and forms that feel at home alongside living plants and natural light. Our pieces are designed to grow with your family — sturdy enough for little hands, refined enough for adult spaces.
